We can never know how fully God can use one conversation to bring someone to greater understanding of Him. We want to be people who press deeper into the heart of the person in front of us for the sake of helping others experience this true life.

In God’s economy, the most generous are the ones who truly recognize and respond in faith to the One who owns it all to begin with. Imagine what would happen if we looked at each dollar as a name and gave it over with great faith.

One decision has the power to transform someone’s life forever. What might the world look like if we chose to look at every decision as one that either brings someone closer to Jesus or pushes them away from Him?

We often assume impact is instant, but more often it comes from the small daily decisions we make where we get about the Father’s business. We begin to experience true and lasting fruit in our lives when we take life one day at a time.

Culture’s current interpretation of Christmas centers on receiving what we feel will satisfy us. Like the Magi, we as believers instead choose to intentionally come to Jesus—regardless of the cost—to worship the only one who can satisfy our souls.

Mary’s willingness to embrace the unexpected—the birth of Jesus—reveals how God interrupts our plans to save us from a path that otherwise would destroy us. Because of this truth, we can welcome the unexpected in trust of something better.

There is something powerful about what we say to ourselves. Just as the writer of Lamentations, in the midst of profound loss, reminds himself that God is his portion, so must we remember that in God we have everything we need to be thankful.

While the world focuses on chaos and confusion, we must call to mind who God is, using that as the lens by which to see the broken world and viewing our circumstances as an opportunity for others to see the difference Jesus makes.

Emptying her jar on Jesus’ feet, the sinful woman embodied true worship. Jesus also calls us to empty our metaphorical jars upon His feet. The gifts we bring don’t just glorify Him; they transform us.

Jesus said that no one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the Kingdom of God. As a follower, we must “grip the plow” and be personally engaged.

Just as four men made a way through the roof to bring a paralyzed friend to Jesus, we’re called to “wreck the roof” by committing to do whatever it takes to bring one more person to Him.

Just as a sailboat isn’t going anywhere without wind, faith doesn’t move unless the Spirit moves first. So, how do we “catch the wind?” We raise the sails, staying in tune with Christ.

We can do nothing of real value apart from Jesus, and, since we’ve been grafted into Him together, we can’t do anything of real value apart from each other. We must “be the branch” to others.

Technology can help reach people for Christ as well as equip them in their faith. We can intentionally utilize technology in ways that will bear fruit in this world.

Although created to connect the world, social media has become an illusion of importance. Instead, we must engage every platform with transparency and intentionality, knowing that God is seen through our everyday lives.

Our screen time is an indicator of what we are following. We want to utilize it in a way that intentionally transforms our minds and lives to look more like Jesus.
