“From what you have, take an offering for the Lord.…””

Exodus 35:5 NIV

In His goodness, God allows us to partner with Him by giving back a portion of what He has blessed us with. He uses our financial gifts to change lives for eternity, making His name known throughout our neighborhoods, country, and world.

Two years of sacrificial generosity to seek and save the next two generations

We are currently on a two-year discipleship journey called MOVE, where we are humbly praying that God moves in and through each of us, growing us in generosity to see lives radically transformed by the power of the Gospel.

This two-year generosity initiative is a season at our church like no other. God isn’t finished with us as individuals, and He isn’t finished with us as a church. We are praying to move together as one church, move forward in our mission, and move closer to those who need Jesus, accepting God’s invitation to partner with Him as we never have before.

Non-cash Gifts

Did you know you can donate non-cash gifts including stocks or mutual funds? You can even give other non-cash gifts including real estate or include Southeast in your estate planning.

IRA Charitable Distributions

If you are over 70-1/2 years old, then you may want to consider giving through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). A QCD allows you to distribute directly from your IRA to Southeast Christian Church and the amount is not reported as taxable income or a charitable deduction on your tax return. An IRA owner can make QCDs of up to $105,000 annually. This amount can be counted toward the IRA’s annual required minimum distribution (RMD). Consult with your financial and/or tax advisor to analyze your particular situation and confirm tax benefits.

Your financial institution may send your IRA charitable distribution by check to Southeast Christian Church, Attn: Contributions, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY 40243.  If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the Contributions Team at 502.253.8707 or giving@secc.org.
