Two years of sacrificial generosity to seek and save the next two generations

More than 60 years ago, a small group of believers with a bold faith gathered together, willing to take God-honoring risks, and Southeast Christian Church was born.

In the years since, we’ve continued to trust God as He moves our hearts toward the lost, instilling a desire to meet people where they are and to care for the vulnerable while sharing the hope of Jesus.

We believe God continues moving us as a church—perhaps now more than ever! We believe He is moving us together to unleash our current campuses and ministries, moving us forward to bring the good news of Jesus to people across the world, and moving us closer to those who are hurting and often unseen.

This is an exciting season in our church as we accept God’s invitation to partner with Him in a way we’ve never done before. We pray that He will move in and through each person who calls Southeast home, growing us in generosity while increasing His Kingdom.

a note from kyle

For in him we live and move and have our being... These words from Acts 17 became the foundation for MOVE—and as we wrap up year one, I’m amazed at how God brought these words to life.

Ordinary people, empowered by the Holy Spirit, moved toward God’s call in their everyday lives. Our church became so focused and unified on mission that people began seeing everything they had as a means to advance the Gospel. Jobs, homes, resources, gifts, entire lives—all given away so that the world might know the hope, power, and truth of Jesus.

We witnessed radical generosity that enabled us to meet both spiritual and physical needs in ways that transformed the communities around us.

Everyday purpose met supernatural power.

Bold moves met simple faith.

Together, we moved with God, united and propelled to advance our mission of loving people one at a time. Your response to God’s call with generosity and action catalyzed transformation in our community and beyond, and this guide is just a glimpse of all that God has done.

And as incredible as 2025 was, I believe we’re just getting started.

As we step into 2026, I’m filled with faith for what God might do next. Because this isn’t just about maintaining what we have or working through a list of initiatives—it’s about boldly stepping into what God has for us next. Our journey of radical obedience, faith, and generosity continues. This is our stake in the ground, our rally call to lay everything down as we keep moving with God.

“FOR IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING…” ACTS 17:28

My prayer for 2026 is that we would keep stepping out in faith, one move at a time. That God would deepen our faith as we grow in generosity and give us a better picture as a church of what it really means that in Him we live, and move, and have our being.

primary goal

100%

engagement

Our main focus is complete involvement by everyone at Southeast—discovering together what God is calling us to in this season. We want every single person to take his or her next step in discipleship and grow in generosity. Our prayer is for God to open each of our hearts, unleashing us to be all and do all that He has called us to.

secondary goal

$240M+

OVER TWO YEARS

By God's grace, in April 2025 we celebrated $266M in commitments and expected gifts to MOVE, and He is already showing us that He desires for us to MOVE even further faster. With each new, continued, and increased commitment that we receive, we will continue to advance these initiatives forward in even greater and expanded ways.

What's Next?

We’re asking you to join us on a spiritual journey with God, to take the largest step of generosity you’ve ever taken, as we move together to take the largest step of faith we’ve ever taken.

Ready to MOVE?

God is on the move, and He is inviting us to join Him. We believe He wants to grow our hearts in generosity, moving in us and through us as never before—together with one vision, forward to reach the lost with the good news of Jesus, and closer to those who are hurting and searching. Are you ready to take the next step on your discipleship journey of generosity?

It's time to MOVE.
