Think About These Things
We rarely take the time to think about what we think about. But we need to do so; often. In Philippians 4:8,9 Paul provides guidance regarding the kind of thoughts to dwell upon. We do not live at the mercy of our thoughts. With a bit of discipline and a heavy dose of relying on the Holy Spirit we can take control of our thoughts and in doing so reset the trajectory of our lives.

Desperation
No matter how faithful we are to God, disaster sometimes seeks us out. How do we not just hang on to Christ, but lead others to do so as well? We should feel inspired to prepare for the storm, and when in the storm, comforted that we’re not alone.

False teachers are eloquent, but deceptive and dangerous, especially in today’s digital world. As men of faith, we can serve our families well by taking the posture of watchmen, carefully evaluating what our children are exposed to.
