Living the real life is a distinctive way to think about everyday things: encounters with people, successes, failures, and so on. When we live in Christ, peace is the dominant trait we have with life’s curveballs.

False teaching is one of the most common obstacles we face to living the real life in Christ. The mystery of the Gospel is that we are made alive in Him alone. Just as we received Christ by a mysterious miraculous power, so also do we live in Him.

Everyone is searching for their best life, trying to find meaning to life’s most important events. We know the real life is found in knowing Christ and having faith that in Him alone we are made perfect. It is what you are searching to find.

Life is hard, but there are promises to grip, strategies to employ. Flee evil and pursue intimacy with your Creator. Uproot what is broken and cultivate what is life-giving. Make war on what is destructive and rest in the God who loves you.

The only solution to spiritual, emotional, and physical exhaustion is a spiritual, emotional, and physical rhythm of rest. Jesus, our Shepherd, invites us to join Him in a new type of life where our souls can be truly refreshed.

God created humans, and in the very next scene, He rested. From the beginning of human history, He has been training us to live to the beat of His heart, resting in Him before all else. We were created to work out of our rest, not rest from our work.
